Have to Believe We Are Magic

I am watching Xanadu, the inimitable Olivia Newton-John masterpiece* about a muse and a roller skating rink. Since it originally came out when I was seven, the only part I remembered beside the bitchen theme song is Olivia Newton-John being, like, trapped in a mural by Zeus and the beaky hero guy trying to smash into the wall to free her or something. On skates.
But watching it now leaves one question unanswered: Do you think Gene Kelly was sorry?
*Weird, hitherto unknown fact: the director of this mindboggling film went on to produce and direct Outfoxed and Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Prices.
